Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Individual Giving Fundraiser to work as part of our small team at Bournemouth Hospital Charity and develop a highly responsive programme of online and offline fundraising opportunities for individual giving including appeals, regular giving and In Memory programmes.

You will be required to secure income through the development, co-ordination and management of individual giving opportunities. Specifically, the post holder’s focus will be to significantly increase the level of individual giving income in line with the Charity’s approved strategy and build long term relationships with regular givers alongside generating income through fundraising appeals and campaigns; to include responsibility for raffles and lotteries.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual who has a sound understanding of fundraising and works well in a busy and exciting environment and who can also effectively engage with our donor base.

You will have

previous experience in a giving fundraising role in charity
previous experience using a fundraising database is desirable
good written and verbal communications skills, with strong attention to detail
an analytical nature, able to evaluate and monitor the success of campaigns
excellent time management skills
knowledge of the latest data protection regulations and standards.
